Medically Necessary Contact Lenses-Soft Contact lenses
For those patients who have very high prescriptions and/or high astigmatism. For those patients who have large disparity of prescription between the two eyes. For those patients with aphakia. Most vision plans pay for medically necessary contact lens materials and contact lens exam fitting fees.
The Contact Lens Exam is separate from the Comprehensive Exam and may require an additional fee. By law, contact lens evaluations and prescriptions must be updated every 12 months.
